Holds a Master's degree in Conservation Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences (specialisation: Quality) from the University of Évora.
She is a specialist in monitoring, assessing, and mitigating the impacts of human activities on wildlife, particularly bats.
With 18 years of professional experience in both academic and corporate settings, she has worked extensively in ecological restoration and in the monitoring and assessment of the impacts of energy production and transmission infrastructures, road networks, extractive industries, and agriculture on wildlife.
